Mexican luchador Dos Caras Jr, who was expected to sign with the World Wrestling Entertainment, announced over the weekend that he will not be signing a WWE contract. He opted to resign with the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (formerly known as Empresa Mexicana de la Lucha Libre) for 4 more years. Caras stated that he thought staying in Mexico would be better for his career, based on him already being a star in his native country. This would keep him from having to start all over and work his way back up to the top.

Meanwhile, WWE has officially announced that their veteran Diva, Victoria will be wrestling her final match this week on SmackDown. What will this vivacious vixen do in the final match of her career?"

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – There's a new champion ruling the Land of the Extreme. On a monumental ECW on Sci Fi, the "All-American American" Jack Swagger was victorious over Matt Hardy to claim the ECW Championship Tuesday night.

Jack Swagger def. Matt Hardy (ECW Championship Match)
The "All-American American" showed the swagger of a champion on Tuesday's ECW on Sci Fi when he defeated Matt Hardy for the ECW Title. Swagger smartly targeted Hardy's left arm throughout their brutal match, inflicting damage on the limb Hardy uses most in the Twist of Fate. Despite the strong energy of the WWE Universe behind him, Hardy was unable to stop Swagger's momentum. The All-American American threw Hardy forehead-first into an exposed turnbuckle and quickly landed the gutwrench powerbomb to pin Hardy for the win.

Swagger, who came to the Land of the Extreme four months ago as a part of ECW General Manager Theodore Long's New Superstar Initiative, has proven he's the future of ECW. The cocky, undefeated All-American American is poised for greatness as the Jack Swagger era has officially begun on ECW.

Tommy Dreamer's announcement
Tommy Dreamer made an emotional speech to the WWE Universe on Tuesday. The ECW Original reflected on his Extreme, 19-year career and admitted today's competition is younger, stronger and faster. To prove he can still compete in WWE, Dreamer said he must win the ECW Championship before his contract expires on June 6 or else he'll leave the Land of the Extreme. The ECW Original poignantly vowed he'll be ECW Champion again.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - With less than two weeks to go before the Royal Rumble, and Mr. McMahon making his heralded return next week, the WWE Universe may have expected this week's Raw to provide a breather before things hit the fan. But they were shocked numerous times as Ted DiBiase made a surprise return, Rosa Mendes again attacked Melina and Stephanie McMahon, fed up with the condescending Superstar, fired Chris Jericho. Perhaps the biggest moment, however, was when Shawn Michaels stopped the show with his defeat of World Heavyweight Champion John Cena, on HBK's "WrestleMania night."

Shawn Michaels def. World Heavyweight Champion John Cena with JBL's distraction
In the night's main event, Shawn Michaels competed in a non-title match against World Heavyweight Champion John Cena, as JBL looked on from HBK's corner. The Longhorn Loudmouth currently holds Michaels in his employ and hoped to watch as The Showstopper softened up The Champ prior to his title defense against JBL at the Royal Rumble. Though HBK was eager to show the WWE Universe that he was still the same Superstar, he wasn't given an opportunity to win the fight cleanly, as JBL both pushed the rope toward Michaels to break up a pin, and caused a distraction for The Champ, allowing his employee to pick up the win with some Sweet Chin Music in a contest that the self-proclaimed "wrestling god" declared HBK's "WrestleMania."

Melina & Kelly Kelly vs. Women's Champion Beth Phoenix & Jillian ended in a no contest after Rosa Mendes' attack on Melina; Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes & Santino Marella announced as Royal Rumble participants
Prior to her match, Melina was attacked before she could even make it to the ring to join her partner, Kelly Kelly. WWE Champion Beth Phoenix's crazed No. 1 fan, Rosa Mendes, had disguised herself as one of Melina's paparazzi, and assaulted the red-carpet Diva on the entrance ramp. Kelly Kelly went to assist her tag partner as security escorted Mendes (who had been banned by Stephanie McMahon one week prior) out of the arena, but The Glamazon & Jillian took advantage of the situation to attack Phoenix's Royal Rumble opponent Melina as well as Kelly.

Meanwhile, in the locker room area, Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes celebrated the earlier beating they administered to Manu & Sim Snuka. After DiBiase reconciled with Orton, the three revealed that both DiBiase and Rhodes will participate in the Royal Rumble and began to make plans. Elsewhere, Santino Marella left a meeting with Stephanie McMahon, elated that he will also be competing in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match.

Randy Orton def. Kane; Ted DiBiase, Manu & Sim Snuka attacked Orton & Cody Rhodes, but DiBiase turned on his associates
Attempting to exact vengeance on Randy Orton for his one-night liaison with Kelly Kelly, Kane took on the Legend Killer one-on-one. Orton managed to just barely squeak out a win over the Big Red Monster, as the referee failed to notice that Kane had raised his shoulder just prior to the three-count. Orton and his associate Cody Rhodes' celebration didn't last long however, as they were interrupted by Manu and Snuka, bitter over being kicked out of Orton's "Legacy." The two then revealed their back-up, the second-generation Superstar they had earlier alluded to, Ted DiBiase. The three dove into the ring for a stand-off with Orton & Rhodes. To Manu & Snukas dismay, however, DiBiase turned on them, and joined Orton & Rhodes in brutalizing the excommunicated second-generation Superstars.

Manu & Sim Snuka plan to attack Randy Orton
As Cody Rhodes conversed with Mickie James in the locker room area, he was approached by his former associates, Manu & Sim Snuka. Upset about being booted from Randy Orton's new group, Manu & Snuka informed Rhodes of their plan to attack the Legend Killer later in the night. The two also gave Rhodes a chance to join them and the other, mysterious second-generation Superstar they brought with them.

Intercontinental Champion William Regal def. CM Punk by disqualification
One week prior, during an Intercontinental Championship Match, William Regal lost to CM Punk due to a disqualification, allowing him to retain the title. After the contest, Stephanie McMahon decreed that the two would have another match the following week, but if Regal again lost by disqualification, the title would be awarded to the Straightedge Superstar. The two faced again in Sioux City, Iowa, but this time it was Punk who was disqualified, rendering William Regal the winner, and still Intercontinental Champion.

Later, as the Intercontinental Champion was celebrating his win with the lovely Layla, he was approached by Stephanie McMahon. The Executive Vice President, stating that neither the audience nor herself were satisfied, again set another match between Punk and Regal, but to ensure that it has a definite finish, she made next week's contest a No Disqualification Match.

Rey Mysterio def. World Tag Team Champion The Miz; Mike Knox attacked Mysterio
On Raw, Rey Mysterio competed in a match against The Miz, who along with his fellow World Tag Team Champion, John Morrison, was announced as a participant in the Royal Rumble Match. The Master of the 619 hoped to gain revenge for he and Kofi Kingston's defeat last week at the hands of the Shaman of Sexy & the "Chick Magnet." The Ultimate Underdog got what he was looking for, but after the match was again attacked by the vicious Mike Knox. Utilizing his quickness, Mysterio was able to turn the attack around on the Desert Destroyer.

Stephanie McMahon fired Chris Jericho
Stephanie McMahon opened Raw by sharing her apparent excitement for Mr. McMahon's return. Before she could get very far, however, the Executive Vice President was interrupted by Chris Jericho, who not only called Stephanie a liar, but intimated that the Chairman would replace JBL in the World Heavyweight Championship Match with Jericho at the Royal Rumble. After being told by Jericho that she cannot run Raw properly, the Executive Vice President attempted to place the first-ever Undisputed Champion in a match, in which he refused to participate. As a reaction to Jericho's insubordination, Stephanie McMahon barred the arrogant Superstar from competing in the Royal Rumble and promptly fired him, Jericho's second time being let go from WWE.

- Alex Shelley became the new TNA Wrestling X Division Champion, beating fellow Motor City Machineguns tag team partner Chris Sabin in an amazing tournament final. However, Shelley faked an ankle injury in order to get the quick pin, something that may not sit well with Sabin.

- In addition to Christy Hemme's injury, it was announced that Kevin Nash would be unable to compete tonight due to a staph infection. Also, Rhino hadn't arrived at the arena yet.

- Referee Shane Sewell beat Sheik Abdul Bashir after Earl Hebner helped Sewell get the win. After the match, the other TNA officials celebrated with Sewell.

- Beer Money regained the TNA World Tag Team Championship in a three-way match over the teams of Jay Lethal & Consequences Creed and Abyss & Matt Morgan. Following the bout, Abyss and Morgan almost came to blows, but cooler heads prevailed.

- In the back, Kurt Angle admitted to Jim Cornette that the Main Event Mafia attacked Rhino earlier that day at the hotel. Rhino's whereabouts were still unknown.

- Due to a neck injury that will require surgery, Christy Hemme was unable to compete for the TNA Women's Championship. As a result, a Knockout Tag Team match was held with ODB, Roxxi and Taylor Wilde vs. Rhaka Khan, Raisha Saeed and Sojournor Bolt, with the winner earning a Women's Title shot. ODB ended up getting the pin on Saeed, thereby winning a shot at Kong's gold. After the bout, Kong came to the ring and joined the rest of her alliance in annihilating ODB, Roxxi and Taylor!

- In a bloody, violent, chaotic and emotional bout, Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle defeated TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett in their epic rematch, held under no disqualification rules. It was an all-out brawl, with Jarrett taking everything Angle could punish him with, including a steel chair and an Olympic Slam off the entrance ramp through a table! In the end, Jarrett (bloodied and barely able to walk) attempted to cover Angle, but the Olympian reversed it into a backslide for the win. After the bout, Angle continued to attack Jarrett and trapped his ankle in the steel chair while he stomped on it! Jarrett was taken from the ring on a stretcher by EMTs.

- In the TNA World Heavyweight Championship match, "The Icon" Sting successfully defended against a bloodied and battered Rhino, who had been attacked earlier in the day by members of The Main Event Mafia and was able to make it to the arena just before the bout. However, Rhino was beaten down by the champion, who eventually got the win with the Scorpion Deathdrop to retain the gold!

-In the main event, TNA Executive Shareholder Mick Foley made his successful in-ring return by teaming with AJ Styles and Brother Devon to defeat Scott Steiner, Booker T and Kip James (subbing for Kevin Nash). Foley got the win in the bout, beating Scott Steiner in the end. At one point, the referee stopped the match and ordered a double-countout, but Mick Foley restarted it under hardcore rules! (via his power as Executive Shareholder).

Triple H def. World Tag Team Champion John Morrison (Triple Jeopardy Tables Match)
The King of Kings set the tone early in his Triple Jeopardy bouts, reigning supreme over John Morrison by hurling the Shaman of Sexy off the top turnbuckle and onto the unforgiving table outside the ring. After the match, The Miz distracted The Game while Chavo Guerrero attacked him from behind, putting Triple H through a second table.

Triple H def. World Tag Team Champion The Miz & Chavo Guerrero (Triple Jeopardy Handicap Match)
Chavo Guerrero abandoned The Miz, refusing to accept his partner's tag before leaving the squared circle entirely. This paved the way for 12-time World Champion to close the book on his second match of the night, hitting the self-proclaimed "Chick Magnet" with his devastating Pedigree.

Big Show def. Triple H – (Triple Jeopardy Last Man Standing Match)
Although The Game was somehow able to come back from Big Show's vicious chokeslam onto the announce table, he could not beat the count following The World's Largest Athlete's dreaded knockout punch. After the match, Vickie Guerrero emerged with the glare of victory in her eye.

Undertaker def. United States Champion Shelton Benjamin (Non-title)
As the athletic Benjamin was attempting to spring himself backward from the turnbuckle, The Deadman caught him in midair, executing the lethal Tombstone to seal the Gold Standard's fate.

The Bella Twins def. Michelle McCool and Victoria (Divas Tag Match)
The moment Brie tagged her sister into the match, Nikki scored a quick pinfall on the battle-weary Victoria with an Oklahoma Roll. Following the match, an irate Michelle attacked her tag team partner, hitting Victoria with the Wings of Love.

VIP Lounge with guest Mr. Kennedy
MVP confronted Mr. Kennedy about his recent microphone abuse at the fledgling Franchise Playa's expense. This was abruptly interrupted when MVP found his VIP Lounge furniture being repossessed. After Mr. Kennedy suggested that things could be worse, Boogeyman emerged to attack the Ballin' Superstar and introduce him to his worms.

WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo def. The Brian Kendrick & Ezekiel Jackson (WWE Tag Team Championship Match)
