WWE officials have reached out to seven-time WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus about returning for one more match at WrestleMania 25, reports SLAM! Wrestling.

If this were to happen, while it's a long shot, her probable opponent would be former WWE Divas Champion Michelle McCool.

Former WWE Diva Victoria posted a new blog on her MySpace page where she talks about training hard for mixed martial arts. The following is her blog:

Vomit in My Hair

Hey MySpacers !!!

Yeah, that's right. I had vomit in my hair. I've been training like nobody's business. All sorts of insane MMA workouts and exercises that only a sadist could think of. I really feel like I'm making incredible progress. But the other day, I ate too close to a workout. And I threw up. Puke in my own hair. I'm not in Diva-Land anymore. Just call me Pukey McBarfov. I haven't trained this hard since my fitness competition days.

I will be making an appearance at the Carl Casper Auto Show in Louisville on Friday and Saturday night from 7-9 PM. It will be right across from my Black Widow Customs booth at the show where I will be showing my latest build, that we literally are finishing at the show! It is "The Green Machine", and it was so much fun to put together. Both nights I will be with members of my MMA training team. Friday night it will be UFC and Pride Veteran Alex "The Brazilian Killa" Stiebling.

I had a blast in Chicago at the Chicago Auto Show last week. I ate so much good food too. One night, I went to Chinatown's Three Happiness restaurant and ate Chicken Feet. Another night, I went to Brazzaz, a Brazilian steakhouse where they keep bringing meats around on skewers until you ask them to stop. I also had Sushi at SushiSamba, a restaurant that I always go to with Lillian when I'm in New York, but is now in Chicago.

I don't know if I ever mentioned that my doggie adoption went through. I adopted Sophie, a pit bull. She is super happy and friendly, but she definitely needs the obedience school that I've already signed her up for.
I'm gonna try to post pics with my blogs. This is my first attempt. If you see pics, it's because I'm smart. If you don't, it's definitely the computer's fault...

WWE Hall Of Famer Suspect In Roommate Death

Posted by Donny | Thursday, February 19, 2009

WWE Hall of Famer and AWA Legend Verne Gagne, who is currently a resident of the Friendship Village in Bloomington, Minnesota, an assisted living community, was allegedly involved in a incident with Helmut R. Guttman on January 26 which ended up with Gagne throwing Guttman to the floor. Twenty days later, Guttman passed away.

Both Gagne and Guttman suffered from Alzheimer's related dementia. Police are investigating Gagne as a suspect, but it has been noted that due to his condition, Gagne was most likely unaware of what he did and had no recollection of the incident.

Damian Demento Resurfaces With Rant

Posted by Donny | Thursday, February 19, 2009

Former WWE superstar Damian Demento has resurfaced on YouTube yet again. In a recent video post, he gives his thoughts on "The Wrestler", and it's not a positive review as he calls it "a joke". He calls out those who participated in the filming, saying they must be really desperate to be in a movie that allows a one-sided portrayal of the wrestling business in his view. Demento's especially perturbed by the scene in which Randy "The Ram" Robinson wrestles a brutal hardcore match featuring various weapons such as thumbtacks, staple guns, barbed wire and glass. So much so that Demento reverts into his trademark rant mode when discussing the scene. Demento basically thinks the scene is sick and disgusting.

"On the subject of self mutilation, I have my own thoughts. I see no skill, dedication, expertise, courage or accomplishment, in one who subjects himself to abuse during a theatrical performance," Demento said.

"What I see are weak, insecure, desperate, inadequate, individuals who convinced themselves that the scars they wear confirm their passage into manhood. In this day of achieving celebrity without skill or talent I have to wonder what is worse: those sick individuals who mutilate themselves for cheap publicity, or those who pay to watch?" Demento also calls out director Darren Aronofsky, saying he has no creativity with his frequent use of the steadicam in the film.

Demento concludes his video by expressing his disappointment in the wrestlers who participated in the motion pictures. However, he says he's not surprised. You can watch his video review below:

Mick Foley has pulled out of the "Have A Nice Day" situation comedy project. "For those of you who have asked, yes, Mick Foley has once again pulled out of the 'Have A Nice Day' sitcom, citing time constraints (specifically due to his busy wrestling schedule and family committments)," Richard O'Sullivan of Last Colony Entertainment wrote on his MySpace page.

"Mick is a true legend in the world of pro wrestling and he has literally given his body to entertain his fans. Producing and starring in a situation comedy is a full-time job and a person really has to want it badly enough in order to devote their time to it. Otherwise, it's not gonna be a success."

For your information, this is the project that was once known as "Hey, Dude". Foley previously backed out when he accepted the broadcasting job with WWE, but then recommitted once he signed a deal with TNA.

TNA Wrestling and Robert Roode (picture) have agreed to terms on a new contract reports ProWrestling.net. If Robert Roode has yet to officially sign the new deal then the belief is that it is merely a formality right now.

According to the earlier reports, WWE had interest in signing Roode. Roode's deal with TNA had been set to expire in either March or April of this year. Roode was trained in his hometown of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada by fellow compatriot Val Venis and Shane Sewell. He worked for independent promotions all over Canada as Bobby Rude before being signed by TNA. He debuted in the company as a part of the Team Canada stable in the summer of 2004. After the break up of Team Canada, Roode began referring to himself as "TNA's hottest free agent" and transitioned into his Robert Roode Inc. gimmick with Ms. Brooks (Traci Brooks) before joining James Storm as one half of the team Beer Money Inc. It appears the interest from WWE never led to a formal contract offer.

FRESNO, Calif. – Just two days before No Way Out, four of the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match participants fought it out in a Fatal Four Way, while another made his heroic return to SmackDown. But, in the midst of the pomp and circumstance, the opportunistic WWE Champion once again found a way to come out on top and steal the thunder from all of them.

Triple H vs. Undertaker vs. Big Show vs. Vladimir Kozlov (No contest) (Fatal Four Way Match)
WWE Champion Edge placed the blame for the neck injury he claimed to have sustained one week ago at the hands of Undertaker squarely on the shoulders of his tag team partner, Big Show. SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero wasted no time announcing that she would not risk her husband competing until No Way Out this Sunday. However, after Big Show interrupted them and exchanged harsh words with the champion, Guerrero had no trouble informing him that he would be in a Fatal Four Way Match with three of his Elimination Chamber opponents: The Game, the Moscow Mauler, and The Phenom.

In the critical climax of the grueling back and forth battle between four of WWE's most dominant Superstars, the Ultimate Opportunist suddenly dove into the action, spearing The World's Largest Athlete to snatch the momentum heading into No Way Out.

Jeff Hardy returns to SmackDown
Seemingly recovered from the shocking attack by his brother Matt Hardy that cost him his WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble several weeks ago, Jeff Hardy made his return to SmackDown. Although he acknowledged that the events of recent weeks have affected him deeply, he told the WWE Universe that he intends to look forward, and is 100 percent focused on regaining his gold at No Way Out this Sunday.

Don't miss the punishment, as all six Superstars battle for the WWE Championship in the dreaded 16-foot-high, 10-ton ominous steel structure of the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out this Sunday.

Montel Vontavious Porter def. Chavo Guerrero (DQ)
After Chavo Guerrero eliminated MVP in last week's SmackDown Battle Royal, the reinvigorated Franchise Playa' was out for some payback. But, just as he was rallying from a hard-fought match, United States Champion Shelton Benjamin emerged from nowhere to deliver Pay Dirt, getting some retribution of his own after losing to MVP in a non-title match last week. However, this gave MVP the win by disqualification, continuing his winning streak. The self-proclaimed "Mexican warrior," Chavo Guerrero decided to add insult to injury, hitting the unconscious Ballin' Superstar with the Frog Splash and raising his own arms in victory.

World Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison def. WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo
Carlito and Primo failed to get Nikki & Brie Bella flowers for Valentine's Day. But, Miz & Morrison did not. This prompted a match to determine which tag team champions would take out the Bella Twins on Valentine's Day night. With the referee distracted, Miz threw Primo from the top rope, setting up Morrison for the victory. Following the loss, Nikki & Brie exited ringside with the "Dirt Sheet" duo, leaving Carlito & Primo without the win or the Divas.

Maria def. Michelle McCool
After being attacked weeks ago by Michelle McCool, Maria was out to even the score. Michelle, however, had every intention of continuing her vicious wrath upon SmackDown Divas, targeting Maria's injured ankle throughout their match. After her loss in debut singles action to McCool last week, Eve charged down the entrance ramp to help her friend Maria in any way she could. Michelle immediately started bullying the 2007 Diva Search winner, but Eve would not back down. However, the distraction created when McCool threw Eve into the ring allowed Maria to roll the former Divas Champion up for the three-count.

R-Truth def. Ezekiel Jackson
Despite a powerful onslaught by the intimidating Jackson, R-Truth ended Ezekiel's undefeated record, reversing The Brian Kendrick's associate's ura-nage finisher for the quick pin.
